Cesc Fabregas encountered passport problems at his arrival at Moscow’s Vnukovo airport ahead of FC Barcelona’s Champions League match against Spartak, according to ITAR-TASS news agency.

Big mistake: The Spaniard travelled with the wrong passport.
Reports indicate that the former Arsenal skipper – who has two passports – ran into trouble at the airport at passport check because he took the wrong passport for his trip to Russia.
Fabregas was therefore held up at the airport, while the rest of the club continued their way to their Moscow hotel.
But issues were resolved after the club’s chiefs intervened and resolved the matter, enabling Fabregas to be granted a temporary Russian visa.
