Wayne Rooney got an early birthday gift, as his son Kai presented him a cake to kick off his day.
Rooney posted on Facebook: “Woke up this morning to lots of presents and a nice birthday cake from kai.”

This morning, his wife Coleen Rooney tweeted: “A Big Happy Birthday @WayneRooney …. Enjoy your day!!! Xxxx”.
Many of the striker’s 5 million followers extended their birthday wishes, and fellow-celebrities such as CNN’s Piers Morgan also joined in the encouragement.
The TV host tweeted: “Happy 27th birthday @WayneRooney (and happy 16-month anniversary to your hair).”
Wazza then copied and pasted the tweet on his official Twitter page, adding: “my hair says thanks.”
Rooney, who had a hair transplant back in June 2011, was born on October 24, 1985.
