PES 2013 Brand Manager Tim Blair states that it is only a matter of time before gamers see new leagues such as the MLS, or new platform compatibility.
PES 2013 can presently not be played on Wii U or Vita, but in an interview with EPL Talk, Blair spoke about the possibility of making new versions of the game that would match these platforms.
“At the time, we don’t plan to make PES for the Wii U or the PS Vita,” he said.

Blair assured PES fans that Konami had big things ahead…
“This does not mean we never will. We are still exploring these exciting platforms to make a successful game that takes advantage of these platforms.”
With the Pro Evolution Soccer team aiming for an audience expansion in North America, the inclusion of USA’s Major League Soccer in the video game could be vital.
“We are always in the licensing hunt,” he asserted.

There have been major improvements in PES 2013, and through time, further enhancements will be taking place.
“This happens year round and is subject to timing and relationships and what makes sense so the game can be profitable.”
“As you have seen, we are chipping away and growing more and more each year. [The addition of the] UEFA Champions League, then Copa Libertadores, then Brazilian League… It’s only a matter of time.”
Blair also went on to judge PES 2013 as a more difficult and realistic game than its fierce competitor FIFA 13.
