Michael Ballack was rolling at 211 km/h in a 120 km/h zone on a motorway near Tujillo in Spain, according to Who Ate all the Pies, who learnt the news after consulting the Spanish media.

The retired German footballer will appear before a judge in a criminal court.
The English source quoted a Spanish civil guard telling the AFP: “Ballack was detained for excessive speed [on Wednesday] afternoon.”
It is said that, after challenging the speeding charge, Ballack is very much likely to be fined about £9,000 and get a 2-year driving ban in Spain.
