Hope Solo’s memoir entitled ‘Solo: A Memoir of Hope‘ certainly will not be the favorite book of Maksim Chmerkovskiy of Dancing With the Stars.

Solo writes in her memoir that the Ukrainian-American dancer was rude to her during rehearsals.
She accused him of manhandling her, and revealed that Maks, 32, even slapped her.
Fox News extracted a portion of her new book reading: “It kept getting worse.
“One day, Maks was trying to put me in a certain position and hit my stomach so hard with his open palm that I had a red handprint there for the rest of the day.”
It is reported that ABC gave her the chance to switch partners after the incident, but Hope Solo explains that she did not want to end Maks’ career.
Having apparently heard of this revelation from Solo’s memoir, Maksim Chmerkovskiy wrote on his Twitter page:
“Always hated hypocrites and liars, but when someone is both and an opportunist, I just feel bad for them.
“Can’t win at someone’s expense.”
Greg Ryan’s attitude during his time as the coach of USA’s Women Soccer team is also condemned in Hope Solo’s memoir.
