Raffaella Fico’s pregnancy interviews and photos have not amused Mario Balotelli, and now the striker is certain that he will not take her back as his girlfriend.
In her exclusive interview with weekly magazine Chi, Fico justified herself by affirming that she did not need money from a rich footballer, and that both Balotelli and herself wanted the baby.
The model and ex-Big Brother contestant even confirmed that they were getting back together as a couple — implicitly making reference to a wedding on the horizon.
But AGI.it reports that Balotelli has strongly refuted Fico’s statement, declaring:
“I would have preferred not to talk about my private life in public, but I am now obliged to intervene [in the matter] to clarify once and for all the picture of my relationship with Raffaella Fico.
“Our relationship ended at the beginning of April and we haven’t seen or talked to each other since then.
“Raffaella knows very well that since we broke up, I never intended and still do not intend to make up with her.”
Balotelli also stated that he happened to know about the pregnancy very late, revealing that he was disappointed by the fact that Fico could not even tell him the news before third parties found out about it.
“A few days ago, I came to know from third parties that Raffaella is expecting a baby. This is why I decided to contact her, and she only told me it was true after I asked her about it.
“I don’t understand why she didn’t contact me immediately to tell me something as important as this.”
