Peter Crouch’s wife Abbey Clancy says she was frightened to talk to top WAG Victoria Beckham, wife of footballer David Beckham.
Clancy revealed that shortly after she entered a relationship with Crouch, she had difficulties adjusting herself with the WAGs’ mode; and an experience during the UEFA Euro 2004 Championship proved it.
‘It was really strange because I was really young, 19,” Now Magazine quoted her saying.
“At the meal in the evening, Victoria Beckham was sitting there, and David Beckham and all these players you only see on TV… and their wives.”
In truth, it was also her incomplete appearance that was bothering her. Abbey Clancy added: “My clothes were crap.’
