Footballers Ched Evans and Clayton McDonald raped a 19-year-old girl who was too drunk to consent to the act, the court hears.
According to prosecutor John Philpotts, accomplice Jack Higgins – an associate of the footballers – and Ryan Roberts, Evans’ brother, watched through a window while the “rappers” were in action.
Video recordings were even found on Higgins’ phone, explaining that he allegedly attempted to keep images of the rape.
The attack is reported to have happened at a Premier Inn near Rhyl, Denbighshire. The BBC states that the trial is anticipated to continue into next week.
