Did you know that Wayne Rooney loves the movie The Bodyguard?
On 9 January 2012, the England and Manchester United star wrote on his Twitter:
“Just watching the bodyguard on itv2. Classic film.”
A 2004 movie also carries the same name, but Rooney was surely referring to the 1992 film starring Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner.
The Bodyguard was nominated for an Oscar in 1993.
