According to Famecount Social Media, stats reveal that Ronaldo’s Twitter averages a bit more than 19,200 new fans per day.
Weekly, the number of new fans exceed 144,000. After four weeks – or a month – the numbers surpass half a million!
Considering Cristiano Ronaldo’s influence on social networks, it is fair to say that he is the world’s most popular sportsman.
Even if he has yet to get the favor of Lionel Messi fans, Ronaldo can be content with the fact that he is well ahead of Lionel Messi in terms of popularity on Facebook and Twitter.
